I’m Esa Mbouw,

a digital marketer,

college lecturer,

and creative producer.

Swiss International Hospitality Management graduate based in Jakarta, Indonesia with interests in the hospitality industry, web development, and social media. Currently, I am embarking on a new adventure as a college lecturer and Deputy Head of Business Administration program at Swiss German University in Indonesia.

My previous experiences include an Account Manager for Three Stream, a US-based digital agency; a Product Strategy role for a mobile technology firm specializing in mobile games from the United Kingdom and a Lead Guest Coordinator for a private resort located in Batam, Indonesia.

Work Experience

2016 – Present

Head of Business and Management Study Program | Swiss German University

I started out as a part-time lecturer for the hotel & tourism management department; however, I am currently working as a full-time employee extending my role as the Head of Business and Management department for the university.

2015 – Present

Creative Producer

Within the creative industry, I have worked on multiple audio and visual projects. I worked on visual projects for a telecommunication company in Spain for their annual conference and also audio projects for various brands such as Daihatsu, Mitsubishi, Wuling and others for their event needs during GIIAS show. Currently, I am producing and performing under the moniker of NSBETM.

2014 – Present

Digital Marketing Consultant

I have worked with multiple clients on their digital platforms: Website, e-Commerce site, and Social Media management. Some notable clients: Helena Abidin (former Marketing Director of BMW Indonesia) and Kalyana Shira (a project by Nia Dinata, a renown Indonesian producer). Currently I am working on projects with clients based in the UK (Hair Collections) and Qatar (This is Shoosh, Muna Saad, Donut Bar, etc.)

2012 – 2013

Account Manager | Three Stream

I worked remotely with Three Stream, a digital agency based in Texas, USA to develop WordPress-based web design/development, SEO & SEM campaign, and account management for clients in Brazil, USA, and Indonesia.

2012 – 2013

Product Strategy Associate | Emoji Games (M-Biz Global)

My responsibilities included product development strategy of Pocket Arena, a multiplayer platform for mobile games. Monitoring analytics and plan for improvements. I was also involved in the development of Advergames.

2010 – 2012

Lead Guest Coordinator | Telunas Beach

I was tasked to lead the Family & Independent Traveler (FIT) department of the resort. Managing guest reservations, communication, maintenance of digital media tools, and the management of the FIT team.
